Most every day we wake up, look out the window and shake our heads with the thought that "Wow, we actually live here!?!?"
With the amazing mountains, weather, recreational and cultural opportunities, outstanding school systems and strong community ties there is not much more one could ask for. Sometimes we take it for granted and it is actually not until we travel elsewhere that it really hits home that this place is "really special".

Here in the Roaring Fork Valley we are fortunate to have one of the greatest recreational mecca’s in the country. Clearly with Aspen Snowmass being the World Class resort that it is with so many offerings year round that it is difficult to look beyond it. Yet just a little further down valley there are an abundance of recreational opportunities as well.

If you are a local you most likely embrace and enjoy a day of uphill on any of Aspen's four mountains. For those not aware of the "Uphill Movement", it is in simple terms Hiking up the mountain on skis.
