Snowmass’ 50th Celebration (1967 – 2017) There might have been little snow – but there was BIG Celebration. The celebration of Snowmass’ 50th was not about snow it was about Nostalgia, Fun, Parties, Remembrance, the Future and Bananas – a lot of Bananas! Mikaela Is Mikaela for real…? the World Cup season just got started and Mikaela Shiffrin continued to just get better and it is tough to get better when you are the best. Killington, VT put on another spectacular World Cup over Thanksgiving week with huge crowds and a very fast course. Mikaela finished 2nd in GS and won the slalom the following day. All good -- but the best is yet to come! The following weekend she upped the ante and competed in the Downhill at Lake Louise. I

A Tough Start Two years ago we were skiing knee deep powder on Thanksgiving day. It is still early but as I write on December 3 it is 56 degrees and I am about to get ready to go on a bike ride.
